The goal of Belding Green Initiative is to study the best ways to reduce the carbon footprint in the Belding area, and in order to achieve this goal the team has focused on 4 main ways to help better the environment of Belding.

These main ways are: Individual Transportation, Energy Efficiency, Public Transportation and Recycling. The individual transportation section they looked into vehicles that could be included in the town and that may reduce the carbon footprint, as well as the public transportation by suggesting ways to implement buses and taxis all over Belding available for all to use.

On the other hand there is Energy Efficiency and Recycling, which are two good ways to reduce the carbon footprint in Belding because the city doesn’t have either a good recycling method or a effective energy efficiency and have discovered ways to improve these two elements, Belding can be a little bit more eco friendly!
